Sea Water Chlorinator
Shital Enterprises, a company that places a premium on quality, is
recognised as one of the top manufacturers, suppliers, designers, and providers
of sea water chlorinators in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane, India. Shital
Corporation Sea Water Chlorinator produces Sodium Hypochlorite, a disinfectant,
on-site using brine or seawater and salt. The chemical compound sodium
hypochlorite has the formula NaOCl. Simply put, we circulate sea water via an
electro chlorination cell (the electrolyser). When we use DC electricity to
power the cell, the end product that comes out of the cell's outlet is sodium
hypochlorite. Alternatively, we can store sea water chlorinator in tanks for
later dosing or shock dosing. We pass the NaOCl directly to your process. When
added to the water in your process in sufficient amounts, NaOCl can kill
bacteria, stop the growth of algae, and prevent biofouling.
Concept of
Sea Water Chlorinator is an electrolysis procedure that produces sodium
hypochlorite solution from either fresh water salt or natural saltwater.
Chloride and sodium make up salt. The chlorides will dissociate to generate
chlorine when Sea Water Chlorinator is applied to the electrolyte while passing
through titanium electrodes. Basically, the procedure is as follows: When a DC
current is delivered through a saline water solution in an undivided cell (e.g.
seawater or brine solution), Chloride ions are oxidised at the anode to form
chlorine (Cl2), Sea Water Chloriner is located near the cathode. Water is
reduced to sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and hydrogen (H2), which is then used to make
sea water chlorine. Immediately following a reaction between released chlorine
and sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is created.
